Network
The Denver Public School's Network (DPSNet) is a municipal area network providing data, voice, video, and internet services to Denver Public Schools and administrative sites. The DPS network team maintains a core network and campus configurations for more than 30,000 network connections. The Denver Public School Wireless System supports district wide mobile computing. The DPS Wireless LAN infrastructure provides ubiquitous network connectivity to mobile devices. DPSNet provides the network for instruction and business related to Denver Public Schools and all users must adhere to DPS Board Policies. DPS network traffic, destined for the Internet, is subject to Internet filtering in accordance with the Children's Internet Protection Act. The continuously monitored and maintained DPSNet provides greater than 99.9% network availability.
