Employee-Owned Computers and the DPS Network
DoTS does not support any non-District owned computers. This includes the connection of non-District owned computers to DPSNet and the installation of any District-supported software applications on non-DPS owned computers. Laptops owned by employees must not be connected to DPSNet in order to protect District computers and DPSNet against virus infection and improper configuration settings. When District initiatives require mobile computing, it is the responsibility of the school or department to purchase laptop computers that meet DPS standards for their users.
