upgrade to 8.1 apps, ESS, MSS and refit to time and attendance. There will be a navigation change for ESS and MSS. Other, all other changes are business process related to payroll, some major programs broken down into 2.

SFGF - Cayenta Interface FY Changes

To upgrade in-house interface programs in Cayenta that use year-dependent tables.

EMPA - Replace Buyer PO Print and Contract Release with Updated Versions

Changed SQRs for contract release and PO print to modify phone number changes at the administration building.

EMPA - EMPAC Year End Script

Run year end script in EMPAC Production to change all project lines on work orders that have no committed or actual costs. This script alleviates the need for users to manually change approximately 6,000 work orders that are in backlog or not actioned by year-end

NETW - Add Network Cards to Pix Firewall

A 4 port network interface card will be added to the Cisco Pix firewalls to allow for network growth. The installation will begin after 4:30 on July 19. The Cisco Pixes are implemented in a failover configuration so each unit will be able to be powered down and upgraded individually with minimal interuption in service.

DTWH - Promote Data Vault Infrastructure

The core structures for the production Data Vault have been created and tested in development and QA. As soon as the hardware infrastructure has been built out, this core piece of the EDI infrastructure may be productionalized.
